Sarah Macaraeg is a writer and strategist based in Chicago exploring social justice issues. Her investigations have been cited by Al Jazeera America, ColorLines, Crain's Chicago Business, Fusion and Vice. Macaraeg's narrative journalism features include a Best American Essays notable and a collection of oral histories from women workers across Chicago, which she is currently editing for publication in 2016. She collaborated with the organization We Charge Genocide en route to its United Nations Committee Against Torture presentation on the Chicago Police Department and is a member of the National Asian Pacific American Women's Forum.
