Nick Espinosa is an organizer who helped launch Occupy Minneapolis as well as Occupy Homes MN; he recently lead a successful campaign to save his family's home from foreclosure. He grew up in northeast Minneapolis, the son of a single mother with three children who struggled to make ends meet. At age 15, Nick watched as his father, an Ecuadorian immigrant, was suddenly deported, an experience that would shape his activism.
