BARBARA'S DAILY BUZZFLASH MINUTE

Oh those Repuglicans. They think they're so clever, coming up with new and innovative ways to steal elections. Well guess what, Greg Palast is on to your scheme:

Our investigation in Arizona discovered the real intent of the show-me-your-papers law.

...What moved GOP Governor Jan Brewer to sign the Soviet-style show-me-your-papers law is the exploding number of legal Hispanics, U.S. citizens all, who are daring to vote -- and daring to vote Democratic by more than two-to-one. Unless this demographic locomotive is halted, Arizona Republicans know their party will soon be electoral toast.

The Repuglicans will do anything to fix an election, but this time they've gone too far. Fascism is not welcome in America, and fascism will be voted out!

"Show me your papers" isn't enough for some Repuglicans. There are those lunatics who propose to micro-chip illegal aliens! I knew some kind of physical mark would follow this insane law in Arizona and here's the first suggestion from Iowa:

Dr. Pat Bertroche, who's running to challenge Democrat Leonard Boswell in Iowa's 3rd Congressional district. He believes we should microchip illegal immigrants to make sure we can keep track of them.

Dr. Bertroche said: "I think we should catch 'em, we should document 'em, make sure we know where they are and where they are going. I actually support micro-chipping them. I can micro-chip my dog so I can find it. Why can't I micro-chip an illegal?"

This is one of the most disgusting fascist suggestions that ever came out of a Repuglican mouth! It is a shameful lack of regard for humanity. What has America become when human beings are compared to dogs in the street? I weep for my country!

Graham: I'll Filibuster My Own Climate Bill

Now that little piece of news makes about as much sense as teats on a boar hog. What a childish response to both climate and immigration reform!  But then this is Lindsey Graham, who believed buying rugs for $5 with a 100-man Army escort in an Iraqi market a brave accomplishment. So you have to know his psychological development is actually that of a 6 year-old!

Dubya's memoir is due on bookshelves this November:

Former President George W. Bush’s memoir, ”Decision Points,”...

Bush will write about political and personal challenges and discuss his handling of events including the 9/11 attacks and Hurricane Katrina, as well as his embracing of his faith amid his effort to quit drinking.

My God, wasn't it enough we had to live it?! And now they want us to read about it. "Political and personal challenges"? Colossal, disastrous mistakes would be more to the truth, but hey, this is a Repuglican, and Repuglicans don't know what the truth is! This will be the first documentation written to begin to revise Bush's history, an attempt to change reality, i.e. "The Twilight Zone"!

If ever there was a physical manifestation of full-blown insanity with a God complex, it is Glenn Beck:

BECK: It’s darkness, and I can just feel it coming... the problem is that God is giving a plan, I think, to me that is not really a plan... The plan that He would have me articulate, I think, to you, is “Get behind me.” And I don’t mean me, I mean Him. Get behind me. Stand behind me...

We are indeed doomed if we are depending on the insanity of Glenn Beck to save the world!
