Truthout is seeking an electronic publishing intern to learn about and assist in our daily news production under the guidance of our editors. In this 3 to 6 month paid internship position, you will strengthen your publishing skills and learn the ropes of an online newsroom.

Applicants should have good basic computer skills and a familiarity with the use of social media. Applicants should be college students or recent graduates with excellent editing and writing skills, a love of politics and a strong interest in online publishing.

The Electronic Publishing Intern is expected to work 20 hours per week and will receive a stipend of $870 per month plus a cell phone and internet stipend. This is a work-from-home position, and applicants are welcome from anywhere in the United States. People of color, women, queer and gender-nonconforming people are encouraged to apply.
